About this design
L-O-V-E is spelled out by four illustrated hands in a row: a mummy wrapped in bandages, a grey undead hand wearing a rainbow band, a bare skeleton hand throwing a peace sign, and a green stitched fist with bolts. Each is drawn in its own texture and palette, full colour on heather purple, and the row reads left to right without the letters being spelled out anywhere.
